JAIME MONFORT MIRALLES

Jaime was born in Pedreguer, Spain.
Immersed from childhood in the humor of the Marx Brothers and Monty Python, he developed a passion for theater at an early age. At fifteen, he discovered what would become his true vocation: clowning.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Visual Theatre at Edge Hill University (Ormskirk, UK), where he also discovered contemporary dance and joined the university’s dance-theater company, Edge FWD, performing across England and Wales.

From 2014 to 2016, he continued his training at the Centre de les Arts del Circ Rogelio Rivel in Barcelona. In 2019, he received the National Higher Professional Diploma in Circus Arts from the Académie Fratellini (Saint-Denis, France).

It was there that he developed an original artistic exploration blending clowning and scratching (vinyl manipulation), giving rise to an act both euphoric and poetic.

Jaime is also a performer in Homo Sapiens, a collective clown show directed by Caroline Obin (alias Proserpine).

In 2025, he is launching DJ Sirius, an offbeat interstellar DJ set that mixes electronic music and absurd objects in a festive, cosmic performance, where the audience becomes part of the interstellar journey.

He is also taking part in Compagnie BAL’s new creation, Mascarade, scheduled for autumn 2025.
